Chuck Chambers
Lead Pastor
Chuck has been serving as pastor at Woolsey since 1987. He and his wife Lisa have three adult children, David, Steven, and Kari, and ten grandchildren. Chuck graduated from Columbia International University and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and holds a Doctor of Ministry degree from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Chuck enjoys hunting, cycling, reading and any chance he gets to take someone to Chick-fil-A.
Chuck’s responsibilities consist of overall leadership and regular preaching.

Matt Shirley
Staff Pastor
Matt is originally from upstate South Carolina and became a pastor at Woolsey in 2012. He has earned degrees from Anderson University and the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He met his wife, Kari, while serving at Woolsey and they have two sons. Matt enjoys being outdoors as well as sports, music, reading and traveling.
Matt leads the music and senior adult ministries at Woolsey and oversees international missions.

Steven Chambers
Staff Pastor
Steven has been involved in the life of Woolsey since childhood. After completing degrees at Bryan College and Southern Seminary, Steven came on staff at the church. In 2013, he and his family served with the International Mission Board and they returned to Woolsey in 2014, accepting the role of pastor. Steven received his Ph.D. in Christian Leadership from Southeastern Seminary in May 2020. Steven and his wife Christy have four young children, Andrew, Lizzy, Abby and Lydia. He enjoys spending quality time with his family, coaching youth sports, reading and running.
Steven oversees the discipleship, outreach and children’s ministries at Woolsey, in addition to several executive responsibilities.

Ron Lee
Lay Pastor
Ron came to Woolsey in 2016 after moving from Columbus, GA. He and his wife Rebecca have 4 adult children, Sarah, Ryan, Suzie and Ben, and 6 grandchildren. Ron has worked for over 30 years in the funeral and insurance industry, currently helping families to understand their options before and after a loss. Ron enjoys reading, hunting, fishing and time with his family, as well as the occasional funeral pun.
Ron helps to shepherd through prayer, wisdom and teaching. He also serves as a Connect Group teacher and leader in Senior Adult Ministry.

Financial Assistant
Sherrilon maintains the church’s finances and membership records and assists with various office tasks.
