What Can I Expect?

Woolsey Baptist Church welcomes everyone! We want you here. During worship services, the Bible is front and center. We sing songs based on the Bible, read the Bible, pray according to the Bible, and most importantly, hear the Bible preached expositionally. Most people dress casually. You will see some in jeans and others in more formal attire. But you are welcome no matter what you wear.

A wide range of music is sung here, including old and new songs. Our worship pastor, musicians, and choir lead singing accompanied by piano, guitar, and drums, along with other instruments.

What about Children?

Woolsey Baptist Church offers age-appropriate Bible teaching and activities for children birth through pre-K during the entire worship service. We also offer Kids’ Corner for kindergarteners and 1st graders. Kids’ Corner meets during the sermon portion of the service and teaches the same content of the sermon. Parents will be dismissed just before the sermon begins to sign in their children.

It is the policy of Woolsey Baptist Church for two adults to always be present with children. All volunteers who serve children have been screened through our Child Protection Policy and Criminal Background Check.

Covid-19 safety measures are currently in place to help keep our children safe. Extra cleaning, social distancing and temperature checks of children’s volunteers are part of our safety plan. Contact us if you have specific questions or concerns.

When Do You Meet?

In addition to Sunday morning worship at 8:15 am and 10:45 am, we regularly meet for small group Bible study on Sundays from 9:30 to 10:30 am. These Connect Groups are available for all ages.

Woolsey dedicates most Sunday evenings to going out and being the church. Check out the calendar for special events at 6 pm. Due to Covid-19 Sunday evenings are currently on hold.

Our Wednesday evenings, are currently on hold. We hope to resume in 2021. Check back for updates.
